The Alamo Area

Just 10 minutes from Mid-Valley Dusters Incorporated Airport, our hotel is conveniently located for guests flying into Southern Texas. Enjoy ample amenities and clean, high-quality accommodations along with friendly service while you stay at our pet-friendly hotel. These attributes make our hotel the perfect choice for your visit to the Rio Grande Valley. We are located within easy reach of McAllen and the Mercedes Outlet Mall, plus we’re in close proximity to the popular San Juan Shrine. Whether you are in the area for sightseeing, visiting family and friends, on a business trip, treat yourself to comfort and convenience while you’re here at our hotel.

Alamo is known as the gateway city to the popular Santa Ana National Wildlife Refuge, which is near our hotel and attracts thousands of tourists each year. From Highway 83, you simply turn south onto FM 907 and then turn left onto Highway 281, or Old Military Highway. Just like that, you will reach the Refuge and behold the beauty of this natural world at the southern tip of Texas. This city has also been nicknamed “The Land of Two Summers,” since even Texans migrate south to this area to enjoy warmer temperatures during the colder months. This means you can take a toasty trip to the vibrant Rio Grande Valley to escape the winter blues near the major cities of McAllen and San Juan.
